About Me
I am a French-born engineer living in Palo Alto, CA [LinkedIn]. I work for Intalio, a company I created in 1999. I write the IT|Redux blog, and organize the Office 2.0 Conference. I am an advisor to several companies, including 3TERA, Buzzgain, EchoSign, Egnyte, EveryTrail, Intellimaker, Move & Play, Muchobene, and Presdo. I am a Stoic and am married to an American-born woman who brings a Chinese heritage to our family. Together, we are the proud parents of a baby girl born in February 2007, and a baby boy born in March 2009. I split my time between Palo Alto, CA, Tokyo, Japan, and Red Carpet Lounges around the World. I am a PADI scuba diving assistant instructor in Monterey, and an instrument-rated private pilot flying on Cirrus SR22 out of KSQL and KPAO. I am also learning helicopter flying on Robinson R44 out of KWVI. In my free time, I love riding American V-Twin motorcycles, sailing, practicing photography, playing go, and learning sadÅ.
